OUR SHIPPING POLICY

We strive mightily to make and ship all orders placed before 12:00 PM PST by close of the following business day, unless otherwise specified. But, alas, we currently only ship to addresses within the United States. We’ll be sure to make an announcement when we’re able to ship to our friends and loved ones outside the US.

If you can wait a few days for your Knack to arrive at its destination, our flat-rate ground shipping will get it there for $9.00. If you need to upgrade to rush shipping for last-minute thrills, select the overnight shipping option at checkout.

If you have questions, special handling instructions or a desired turnaround time for your Knack, just contact us and we’ll let you know how we can help.

GROUP PAYMENTS

It’s the simple way to split the bill for a group Knack, and it works just like the real world: you pay for the Knacks you initiate, and the participants you invite reimburse you directly.  Here’s how:

To make a Knack with others, click Invite to get started.

1. Activate Payment: Turn Activate Payments “on” and then follow our step-by-step instructions to connect a group gift with your PayPal account and enter your credit/debit card information.
2. Invite Participants: Describe the gift, let people know if participation is optional or required, set a deadline, add email addresses and send invitations directly from our site.
3. Complete Payment: When participants receive your invitation, they can view, comment, pay, and sign a group card. Payment through PayPal is integrated into the process and funds are deposited directly into your PayPal account. After participants click Pay, they designate the amount they wish to contribute and pay with a credit card or debit card. It is not necessary for participants to have their own PayPal accounts in order to contribute.

• When and how do I get paid?When people contribute, money is deposited directly into your PayPal account. If they pay by credit or debit card, transfer happens almost immediately. If they choose to pay from their bank account with an eCheck, the transaction typically takes 3-5 business days.
• How much does it cost?PayPal deducts a processing fee (max of 2.9% and $0.30 per transaction) at the time of transactions for payments and refunds.
• Will participants have to have a PayPal account in order to pay?Participants are not required to have a PayPal account in order to pay. They will be able to pay through credit card, debit card, or directly from their bank account through PayPal.
• Can participants cancel if they’ve already paid?Participants will not be able to cancel or withdraw their payments once they have contributed. However, they can request a refund from the Group Knack Creator, who can complete the refund using the PayPal interface.
• What if I need to refund someone?To refund a contributor, the Group Knack Creator can log in to their PayPal account and fully refund participants through the PayPal interface. PayPal will return the full amount to the participant via credit or debit and will only charge you the transaction fee (typically $0.30 and max of 2.9%).
